Latest season has been 10/10. Sad next week is the last two episodes

Very much where I’m at right now. Hoping all I wind up having to do is getting out of the hell hole that is Texas.

I appreciate the attempt but this is not valid syntax. But hey, a man can dream right? Maybe one day we'll get this. One day

Cannot believe I missed 8.4 getting async/await support, thankfully let me know the fantastic news.

Recently I’ve determined that as far as things go in the state of Texas, I’ve not been represented appropriately in years, if not decades. That feeling sucks big time, especially as I watch the issue get worse not better in realtime

I’ve been stuck in this rut for a week now. I want to do something creative, make something either with code or physical objects.. but no energy, or focus, or motivation to actually do the thing

The perpetually gray and rainy weather in Austin today is at least very accurate to how I feel about this country and “celebrating” its birthday.

I think is neat so far, but I somehow ate all of my plans events in two days for Cache Events. I've looked everywhere, and I cannot find anything to tell me what exactly those cache events are so I could silence them or something... bummer.

After a week or so of things being broken, finally realized why my Mastdon instance was all jacked up. I moved my DNS off of DigitalOcean and over to Cloudflares.. which doesn’t support SSL for free more than one subdomain deep. Social.Skrasek.us was covered, but not my media bucket domain: files.social.skrasek.us.

Begrudgingly threw $10/month at Cloudflare, and we’re back in business

Ya know, Arc really worked for me outside of a few things I wished were different. I know it’s not going anywhere and I can keep using it, but… staying with it for the long term feels like a trap more than a good idea.

I really hate browser shopping. Finding one that has/does what I liked about Arc is going to be a pain in the ass.

Where’s the AI that can just find the replacement for me? That’d be more useful than trivializing Studio Ghilbi’s artistic style.

This Memorial Day I remember the brave men and women who gave their lives for this country willingly, or unwillingly (drafted). I mourn the loss of family, friends, lovers, but most importantly as of late I mourn the loss of my childhood innocence. Sometimes I miss when the world was simpler, and I actually believed I lived in the best country out there, and not what it actually is, and has been for some time.

Highly recommend giving this article a read if you develop APIs in with (or any other framework). Not only will your service/application/API be faster and snappier, it’ll help the planet too!

I finished last night, loved the show and all the characters, sad the rides over. Now on to the next show, either Picard, or Andor S2

I have started the final season of . I’m not ready to say goodbye

If I wanted to try my hand at generating code for something like an SDK generator, where would be some good places to start?

Curious how one would go about this little thought experiment I have. How would one go about computing how much value of a business was generated based on software? For simpler math, if a business did $1,000,000 in revenue for a fiscal year, what percentage of that was because of using open source software?

Plus side, with and linear algebra I finally have a very fast and efficient Wordsearch board generation.

Negative side, getting it adapted to be FFI compatible for use as a extension is.. going to be challenging.

If I wanted to replace the cloud document sharing capabilities of Dropbox, is my best bet going to be something like Nextcloud?

It's my first open source release in what feels like years, but I've published a new library for parsing Arazzo specifications into plain old PHP objects. I'm hoping to use this as the starting point for future related packages, and looking forward to seeing what others may build with it.
