It is finished, I have watched all of Deep Space Nine. I fully understand and support all of the hype and adoration the show has garnered.

Anyone who continues to donate money to, or vote for, the following “Democrats” should not only be ashamed but can no longer call themselves Democrats.

Sen. Cortez Masto (D-NV)
Sen. Durbin (D-IL)
Sen. Fetterman (D-PA)
Sen. Gillibrand (D-NY)
Sen. Hassan (D-NH)
Sen. King (I-ME)
Sen. Gary Peters (D-MI)
Sen. Schatz (D-HI)
Sen. Schumer (D-NY)
Sen. Shaheen (D-NH)

I await Schumer’s complete and utter annihilation during the primaries.

Just finished watching Deep Space Nine S6E9, Statistical Probabilities. Incredibly fascinating episode, and admittedly, relatable from a being on the spectrum perspective.

I’ve been commandeered as a pillow by my baby

I did a quick little dive into setting up a headless Selenium script in Python. It’s a simple little form submission test, even with file attachment. Check it out, and use it responsibly 😉.

I think I’ve officially lost my ability to politely/nicely discuss the fact that Transgender people are people, gender affirming care is legitimate, and helps many to live happy and fulfilling lives. I don’t think I care who you are or what community I know you from. I will gladly and heartily tell you to go fuck yourself if you believe blocking this care and forcefully detransitioning people is right or fair.

Finished Enterprise this weekend, now begins the DS9 journey. Curious how much I’ll like the show seeing as that it came out like 3 years after I was born. Voyager having come out the year I was born triggers the same curiosities

I know there's some Star Trek fans in the community. I'm working my way through Star Trek: Enterprise. It's a nice peek at the "before the Federation" time period after SNW, Discovery, and Lower Decks. It's not perfect, but I really enjoy the Archer and T'Pol characters.

Trying to decide if I want to watch Voyager or DS9 next.

Confirmed this myself on iOS. Surely just an innocent mistake right? Right?

Alright folks, I’m still a tad new and having a hard time figuring this out. I’m wanting to create a small Rust app that runs Cloudflares speed tests from CLI, but I’m having a hell of a time on how to go about things like DNS, SSL resolution time, etc. I’m making an educated guess that the TTFB is just the interval between before and after awaiting a response. Am I looking at this the right way with and/or ?

I wish I knew how everyone else is so good at naming their projects. I’m struggling over here

Are there web hosting services that operate in international waters, or the equivalent of?

Better late than never, and after being inspired, I finally wrote a blog post reviewing my time in 2024.

@chris huh, inspired me to try and write one of these. Then I’ll at least have ONE blog post this year lol

After not updating my resume in six years, almost seven, doing so is going to be such a pain.

Still got my job, but my care or give a fucks about it are draining rapidly enough to think it’s time for a switch.

Unfortunately, unless given a huge offer, probably won’t make moves until the last of my stock units vest.. sometime in July 2025.

Got a free tip for anyone who wants it. Don’t use for any application that requires geospatial information (SRID 4326). It’s basically worthless, and has no support for any of the methods or functions necessary to improve query performance.

Maybe this will make sense to someone, but the air smells better now that it’s getting colder in Texas.

The Texas Maternal Mortality and Morbidity Review Committee has decided they’re not going to review any cases from 2022-2023, aka the first two years after the abortion ban.

That’s so incredibly shitty and super convenient for the Texas “government.” Right now seriously considering showing up in person at their next meeting to comment, because what the fuck.

Apparently my laptop does not enjoy trying to run a 40GB model locally. Good to know, good to know. Back to the smaller more manageable ones
